Who Are We
Meridian Biz Management (MBizM) Sdn Bhd is a group of companies comprising of five establishments that had taken root in Asia for more than 10 years now. MBizM was bootstrapped in 2009 by Dr. Satnam Singh (Group Managing Director) and Mr Harbans Singh (Group CEO & Senior Consultant). From there, The Group remarkable achievements had transformed it into a private limited company in 2010. The Group objective is to deliver business solutions to organizations that seek continuous improvement, innovation and complexity elimination. The Group Managing Director, Dr. Satnam Singh believes that the highest performance can be achieved when you have the right people in the right places doing the right things.
In 2010, The Group was certified by The International Association for Six Sigma Certification (IASSC) which acknowledges The Group as one of the most respected professional accreditation body within the Lean Six Sigma industry globally. After three years of operations, The Group acquired LSS Academy by becoming major shareholders of the company. The aim is to improve the competitive position of its customers by promoting the implementation of Business Process Improvement Methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean whilst equipping the participants with a range of quality management tools and soft skills. In 2014, The Group acquired LSS Academy which had encouraged better service and confidence with clients.
In early 2015, The Group announced the opening of its new branch in Australia under the name Meridian Biz Management Australia Pty Ltd. (now trading as Lean Sigma Experts Australia. Due to the fact that Australian understands and recognizes the value and importance of Lean Six Sigma in Management Consulting, Dr Satnam and Mr Harbans took the initiative to provide for the customer’s demand. Later on, The Group was accredited by Council for Six Sigma Certification (SSC). In 2016, Dr Muraliraj joined and became the Director of The Group in 2017.
LSS Academy is specialised in deploying Lean Six Sigma, a revolutionary business improvement method that comprised of two elements; Lean and Six Sigma. Lean is a value focused, waste reduction strategy, which aims to eliminate non-value added activities and waste from a process. Six Sigma on the other hand, is sustaining customer satisfaction through continual focus on the customer needs. Combining these two approach, Lean Six Sigma is achieved and the goal is to obtain fast flexible flow of goods and services while systematically eradicate any issues that could affect the quality of that product or service.
Starting with only two consultants back then, The Group now has more than 10 certified consultants and has consulted more than 120 organizations from various industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Research & Development, Manufacturing, Engineering, etc. The group is able to participate with numerous clients such as ESCATEC, MALAKOFF, DRB-HICOM, CCM Pharmaceuticals, and many more in their turnkey projects.
The Group have made affiliations with IASSC, SSC and EXIN Lean IT, a leading provider of Lean Six Sigma certification in South East Asia. The Group also affiliates with software development group such as SigmaXL, MINITAB ® Statistical Software, and OPEX Resources. Axium Performance and Ascent-E3 are also part of The Group affiliates.
With 50 years of combined experience, The Group has proven to establish certified training services to companies in a wide range of industries spanning across Southeast Asia, greater Asia and Australia.
